Students will watch a video outlining the problems facing our ocean environment.
We will discuss the importance and role of coral reef ecosystems using a 3D model of coral.
We also explore the impacts of plastic pollution through an interactive scene, identifing sources of pollution.
Through a group activity, we will suggest solutions to existing waste issues and theorise possible future solutions, including positive steps we can take to prevent further environmental damage.
As always, we try to end with some free-choice ocean appreciation videos!
