Focus: Comparing the lifecycles of different
marine animals. Duration: 1 hour Max Numbers: 30 students per session Lesson Highlights: Students will identify the different stages involved in all lifecycles. We then examine the life cycle of a sea turtle and compare with that of a crab (which encompasses metamorphosis) using AR animals and 3D holographic animals. As a group, we will discuss how different environmental conditions can affect lifecycles and what could happen to ocean life if conditions are not favourable. Please Note: Our lesson format uses group discussions and educator lead questioning interspersed with the use of VR equipment to highlight focus areas. The use of VR equipment for each student does not exceed 15min, which is in line with product use recommendations. |
